We're fascinated by really hilly golf courses, so we felt compelled to visit Warburton Golf Club in the Yarra Ranges east of Melbourne.
Warburton is an 80-minute drive from Melbourne's CBD and the highlight of the course is undoubtedly its natural scenery.
Established in 1932, Warburton was originally a nine-hole course and became an 18-hole layout in the 1970s.
The video below showcases some of the course's striking elevated tee shots, stunning mountain backdrops and the old silo to the left of the first fairway.
And a round at Warburton comes to a crescendo at the par-four 18th which has one of the most downhill tee shots you could find.
