Arguably the signature hole at Leongatha Golf Club, the par-three 16th is beautifully framed by towering eucalypts and dense native bushland. This aerial photograph captures the hole in warm afternoon light, revealing a green nestled within a natural valley and protected by a bunker on the right-hand side.
One of the hole's defining features is the steep embankment to the left of the green, which repels slightly errant tee shots down the slope and away from the putting surface. The secluded setting, dramatic backdrop of native forest, and natural movement of the terrain combine to create one of the most memorable and picturesque holes on the course.
